Describe three parts of the plot so far and its affect on the reader (you). For example, this causes the reader to think, believe, feel, understand, consider etc.
Identify and give an example (quote and page #) of the author's use of one literary or rhetorical device (simile, metaphor, imagery, allusion, irony etc.)
Choose one significant quote. Copy it exactly as it appears in the story and the page number it is on. Respond to the quote; I wonder..., This makes me think…, this makes me feel...., I was surprised that…, I predict…, This is important to the story because…., This confused me because I do not understand.....
